Welcome to ToneThread™, home of the Spectral Binary™ framework ... a new way of understanding tone, emotion, and resonance in language. Before you explore or use our tools, please take a moment to understand how we protect our work, and what that means for you.

1. Acceptance of Terms

Using ToneThread, BarkThread, ToneStudio, TuneThread, AI.Companion and other affiliated apps constitutes agreement to these terms, plus any specific additional terms for certain tools.

2. Intellectual Property Rights

All underlying systems: Spectral Binary™, Spectral Cognitive Mapping™, Emotional Tone Models, Spectral Alphabet, etc., are owned by ToneThread (or its legal entities).
These are protected under Australian copyright, trademarks, trade secret law, and international law.

3. Permitted Use

You may use the services for personal, non-commercial purposes: self-reflection, creative expression, educational use.
If you want to use outputs commercially, redistribute, embed in another app, or adapt underlying methods, you must obtain explicit permission / license from ToneThread.

4. Prohibited Use

You must not:

Reverse engineer, replicate, or exploit core logic/methods for another product
Use our IP (frameworks, names, models) to train other AI without license
Misrepresent or falsely claim ownership of our methods or tools

5. User Content

If you upload content (tone entries, feedback, creative uploads):

You grant us a licence to use, display, modify, store, and otherwise process that content as necessary to provide the service and improve it.
You retain ownership of what you create; we don’t claim ownership over your original submissions.

6. Disclaimer & Limitations

We make no guarantees about perfect accuracy of tone detection, suitability for any specific purpose.
We disclaim liability for damages arising from misuse.

7. Termination / Suspension

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Also, you can stop using services at any time.

8. Modifications to Terms

We may update Terms; users will be notified. Continued use implies acceptance of updated Terms.

9. Jurisdiction & Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the law of [State/Country, e.g. Western Australia / Australia].
Disputes to be resolved in appropriate courts or via arbitration as per law.
